Bubbles

The new lady that has been watching Ashlee and Lucan has a daughter that is a year older than Ash. Her name is Courtney and she is so cute..Ash just adores her, and we started having play dates with her to try to help Ash be more comfortable around her to help ease some of her seperation anxiety. A few weeks ago when we had her over we set up the slip-n-slide and turned the pool into a giant bubble bath. Ashlee, Courtney and Olivia were in heaven.

Chadburn Family Reunion--veyo, utah

You can't get more redneck than this....a family reunion at the (town?) park in Veyo...the food was terrible, the baby wanted to sleep but there was nowhere for him to, and it was freaking HOT!!! I know like two (not really-but it seems) people in Cody's extended family and I swear people only talk to who they already know..and some of the cowboys really smelled bad..

But after the picnic and auction at the park, we went and hung out with Cody's cousins (the ones we know) and had a blast!!! We went crawdad fishing and in a fashion I have never heard of in my life. Ash had a riot and actually started catching them on her own, it was so cool.

Fish Lake

Now that both Cody's siblings are married and there are 4 grandchildren in the family, Cody's parents wanted to start a yearly camping trip or other sort of get-to-gether. This year we spent 4th of July weekend camping at Fish Lake. It was fun and I hope to go back some day. Get ready for a picture over load...

Ashlee's Birthday Party!!

Ash had quite the eventful birthday this year. We had a family party and invited her grandparents and great grandparents (i can't find the pics but i know i took some) the Sunday before her party. Monday, her actual birthday, she got to open presents from mom and dad. Then dad took her to a movie (the Prince of Persia)..she also started summer kindergarten that day. The following weekend was her all friend party. It was the longest party ever but the girls had fun!! We had swimming at sandhollow, our house for cake and ice cream, then presents, a water party out back and then they hung out in Ash's room playing barbies and such!!

Lucan's first horse ride

I'm so far behind on blogging and my pics are so unorganized on my computer but I'm trying. Anyway, around the first part of June I took Ashlee and Lucan to Virgin to visit grandma and grandpa. Turns out my dad wasn't there, he was away studying for his CNA class but we hung out with grandma Lori. It was a fun time! Ash cannot make a trip there without riding her favorite horse and grandma is so kind to always make sure she gets her request. Ash was dying to share this experience with her brother but all I allowed her to do was hold him while the horse wasn't moving. Here are a few pics from the day.

Register now for Little Gems Preschool!!

Ashlee went to this school for 2 years and it is AWESOME!! Its an academic AND performing arts preschool for ages 3 and 4. 3 year olds come on T-TH and 4 year olds come on M-W-F both classes are from 9:30-12.
The classes include advanced academics (above a Kindergarten level once they graduate) and a full Dance class, Music Class, and the 4 year olds also do gymnastics and violin! 3 yr tuition is $125 and the 4 yr tuition is $165.
I loved that Ash was exposed to dance, music, violin, gymnastics, and one year when she went they did a sports class too. I can't imagine what it would have cost to have her in all those different lessons seperately. And now she is so SMART too!! If any of you friends of mine have kids in preschool, I would highly highly recommend this school to you. You will love it!!
